Major in Economics (Option 1)
Students majoring in economics must take the lower division requirements listed under the College of Business & Technology, except Acct 222. Also, a second major or minor must be chosen. Second majors selected must be in a department outside the College of Business Administration. A minor may be in an area of business administration or in another college. The following 27 semester hours are required in the major:

Students pursuing a degree in economics may add an applied component of study by completing a minor in finance, in addition to lower division college requirements, and courses required for the major. Required courses in the finance minor (18 sh)
